∙ 12y agoThere is no way to count the mass due to the overwhelming size of the Pacific Ocean, migration patterns of animals, and vast amount of unexplored underwater terrain. We know less about the ocean floor than the surface of the moon.And i guess thats just how it is

∙ 13y agoThere have been thousands of species discovered so far, but scientists have no way right now how many there really are. Not all of the seafloor, or the ocean itself, has been explored. Just like the rainforests, where species are discovered and become extinct every day, the amount of species in the Pacific Ocean is variable. The world is an amazing place!
