Aruba has four main hotel/resort districts.

One, Palm Beach high rise hotel district: Most of Aruba's largest resorts are located in the Palm Beach high rise hotel district. They're multi-storied with hundreds of rooms. Palm Beach is lined with water sport vendors [diving, snorkeling, windsurfing]. Casinos, restaurants, and shopping areas abound here.

Two, low rise hotel district: The lowrise hotel district mainly has Divi branded resorts and all inclusive properties with timeshare owners and repeat guests.

Three, Downtown Oranjestad district: Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino dominates the district in Downtown Oranjestad. Casinos, restaurants, specialty schops, and tourist attractions [Fort Zoutman] abound here.

Four, Eagle Beach district: Eagle Beach has smaller hotels and is located between the low rise and high rise districts.
