Hi , you should probably spend 1-2 days of rest between your workouts. it also depends how hard you workout at your workout. if you do an easy workout then only rest one day, and if you work hard, the rest two days. you should workout 4 times a week if you want big muscles that show. drink lots of water and dont eat junk period.

Ideally, a person should aim for a 1:1 work/rest ratio when strength training. This means that if it takes 90 seconds to do your 8 to 12 repetitions, the rest period should be at least 90 seconds. If the person training is just beginning, then this ratio should be extended to 1:1.5 or even to a 1:2 work/rest ratio.

It depends on what kind of workout are you going for and what is your fitness goal. Normally, if you are aiming at fat-loss, mot more than 30 seconds rest should be taken in between your cardio flow exercises.
