well i have also been wondering this sojouner says in her famous speech "ain't i woman" that " she has born 13 children" but in many other websites it syas she had five children.

she had one child from her first love whom she was forbidden to see than her master made her marry some other guy with him she had four more children that's where the five children come from but I'm pretty sure if any woman gives birth to 13 children she would know that that's the amount of children she brought forth.

I'm pretty sure she meant her brothers and sisters because her mother had a total of 13 children but....
