If you are looking at jar of peanut butter that reads 18 oz., you are going to actually have to scoop the peanut butter out into measuring cups to find out. The 18 oz. in this case is a weight measurement (not volume). The amount of cups you get will vary base on the specific recipe used to make the peanut butter.
