of course!cheese is fine even when moldy.just cut off the mold and the rest is fine.i know it sounds gross but lots of cheeses purposfully have molds on them to protect them.it will do u no harm.it may be ok but that doesnt mean that most people will eat it.usually eating something past the experation date is not recommened but if the cheese has been kept refrdgeratd or properlly stored and is not past the date by more than a few weeks u should be fine.
As a fresh dairy product, cream cheese should have a use by date. After the use by date, the product might not be safe to consume. Be cautious with cream cheese after the expiry date. If it smells or tastes sour, it is best not to risk it.
If the sealed package has not yet been opened, it should be fine for several weeks after purchase if kept refrigerated. After the package is opened, check for bad smell or moldy discoloration before using and toss it if it looks bad.
The reason the expiration dates are there is so that after this date there is a chance that the food is spoiled if it was unopened, and is it has been opened a length of time it almost certinaly has gone off. I wouldn't recommend eating it, and neither do the company that produced it.
You can eat most foods after the expiry date. Trust your nose! If it smells bad or tastes bad then it's off. If not, enjoy it while basking in the glow of someone who hasn't sent something usable to landfill.
Unless it is moldy, it probably won't hurt you but the old expression, "when in doubt, throw it out" is good advice.
Yes. Although it will have a lower moisture content. Also cut away any dry yellow parts or mold.
Of course you can. The question is whether you 'should' or not. Personally, I would advise against it.
it isn't smart but its your health
Most cheeses have an expiration date printed somewhere on the package. Refer to that.
As long as the can is not damaged....for as long as you can think. (Unless it has an expiration date on it!)
Is it safe to eat coconut cream after expiration date
A week.
1 second
no because it still gets old even no u dont open it :)
from personal experience, A LONG TIME, i got a package that was sold in june, and the expiration date was in october
The same lengh of time as the use-by date on the cream cheese, provided the frosting is kept in the refridgerator. (Assuming all the other ingredients have a use-by date that is later than the one on the cream cheese. If any expire earlier, use the frosting by the earliest use by date of any of the ingredients).
whipped cream can last as long as the expiration date says that it can last. whipped cream on cookies, that would not last that long, the whipped cream would being to lookse its fluff and its taste.
2 months
Maalox is no longer any good after the expiration date. When the expiration date has passed it means that it is no longer as effective as it once was.
The expiration date is there for a reason. If it's a cheesecake which doesn't use preservatives, then the expiration date is probably pretty accurate.
