of course!cheese is fine even when moldy.just cut off the mold and the rest is fine.i know it sounds gross but lots of cheeses purposfully have molds on them to protect them.it will do u no harm.it may be ok but that doesnt mean that most people will eat it.usually eating something past the experation date is not recommened but if the cheese has been kept refrdgeratd or properlly stored and is not past the date by more than a few weeks u should be fine.

∙ 6y agoAs a fresh dairy product, cream cheese should have a use by date. After the use by date, the product might not be safe to consume. Be cautious with cream cheese after the expiry date. If it smells or tastes sour, it is best not to risk it.
If the sealed package has not yet been opened, it should be fine for several weeks after purchase if kept refrigerated. After the package is opened, check for bad smell or moldy discoloration before using and toss it if it looks bad.

∙ 12y agoThe reason the expiration dates are there is so that after this date there is a chance that the food is spoiled if it was unopened, and is it has been opened a length of time it almost certinaly has gone off. I wouldn't recommend eating it, and neither do the company that produced it.

∙ 14y agoYou can eat most foods after the expiry date. Trust your nose! If it smells bad or tastes bad then it's off. If not, enjoy it while basking in the glow of someone who hasn't sent something usable to landfill.
