huh? you mean why do we have daylight saving? if that is the question, then in my opion, i like daylight saving because it can save electricity and parents can spend more time with their kids near the beach or something if they work late since there is still daylight out there

This depends upon whether New Zealand, or your part of the USA has daylight saving time operating at the time.You could have a look at both Daylight Saving and Time Zones in wikipedia.org or some similar on-line encyclopedia.Roughly 7 hours is the answer - but depending on your time zone ...
