it depends what training method you use. i watch ceasar millan and that helped my dog learn to stay. ill tell you how i did it too. first you must be very calm when you do this,if your excited inside the dog might not do it so be calm and serious. and don't yell, just be patient and your dog will learn probely within 30 MIN!!! so do it right! ok,make the dog calm, and make the dog sit beside you. say shhhh fast, and pull the leash up,just enough so it gets its attention. then say STAY firmly, and drop the leash and just walk away, don't make eye contact until you turn around to see if the dog stayed. if your dog comes to you bring it right back to the spot, some dogs don't sit but its okay for it to stand. so repeat this,my dog learned it within 20 min. you can also put your hand it the STOP position and say stay. and remember just walk away, forget about the dog and don't pay attention to it. so when you think you got this, make it harder. run around, jog, make a weird noise, sit down or grab a toy. it may help if you don't make eye contact when you do this. and remember to walk your dog, this can help a LOT. if its not walked regulary it may cause the dog to create bad behaviors. and being in the backyard is no subsitute for a walk.
2 min.
Usually guide dogs take about 2 years to train. This goes for seizure dogs as well as seeing eye dogs. The dog must pass a test to be a guide dog.
You can train your dog to stay by your side. Or u can walk them. Or take them to the dog beach. All three are fun activities to do with your dog. But always remember, dogs also need to be loved and cared for.
Train the dog to stay off the bed.
Train your dog to sit or stay and give it a treat for doing what it was told.
take him or her to a pet store
This is probably one of the last things you want to train a dog to do, if for no other reason than that it is bad for a dog's spine to be held that way.
about a mouth
take him to a pet store
You have to train it to like a real dog. And there are also instruction manuals somewhere on the game that help you take care of your dog and learn how to train it.
The same amount of time as any other little dog. About 1month to 3 months.
It depends on the individual dog but most puppies can take up to a few months and untrained adult dogs can take longer.
