A Gatorade drink takes almost about the same, maybe even faster to digest and get into your system than water.

After drinking Gatorade on a fairly empty stomach, it should take anywhere from 10-15 minutes.

On average, 20-30 minutes and 30+ minutes on a full stomach

Depends on alot of factors. Depends on how tall you are, how full of food (or empty) your stomach is, depends on how you respond to caffeine and sugar, depends on how much of it you consume in what time period. For example, average 16oz of monster if you drank it in 5 minutes or less, it should hit you within 20-30 mins generally, may take more or less depending on if you have food in your stomach to get in the digestive processes way. They can stay for as long as you feel your heart beat and the jitters, then you get the low (because your pumped up previously and all the sugars/ingredients of the drink have been used by your body). This usually for a person is usually 2 hours minimum, and 4 hours maximum (you may prolong the effects by drinking it slowly like within a 30-45 minute or even longer phase). It is important however, to drink water with it. It will dehydrate you, since caffeine is a stimulant, it'll also agitate your urinary tract, so you'll end up going to the bathroom more then you should causing the dehydration along with headaches if you don't drink water. But that's just some cases, some respond well to energy drinks and caffeine, and some don't.

Caffeine typically begins to affect your body about 45 minutes after you consume it as it must be absorbed through the gastrointestinal system.
