I would recommend anywhere from 4-6 weeks. In the mean time, use a re constructor and intense moisturizer on your hair 3 times a week. It will help strengthen it and get it ready for another chemical service.

For a perm ( or actually relaxer ) I would wait 3-6 weeks, and depending on the growth rate of your hair, because you don't perm the Whole head, just the roots-after you've had the initial relaxer put in.

Your hair will need a rest, you should not put any colour in your hair for about 6 weeks after your perm as it causes too much stress, you should not even be perming your hair one day after you have taken out the braids. Really you would need to ask your hairdresser, but honestly i think you can but then your hair would be wet and loose it's perm so it's very pointless. It's best to wait at least 2 weeks after the perm before you dye your hair.
