A Tragus piercing, being a deep cartilage piercing should be left in for a period of 3~9 months to allow the piercing to properly season and toughen. As with any piercing they are never considered fully healed until they are a full year old. So the longer you can leave it alone without changing the jewellery the better it is for the piercing.

it really depends on the piercing, the most common Navel (belly button) and Nose are both 6 weeks but i would leave it in at least 2 mths before you change it. whatever you dowith the navel.... six weeks, think I changed mine at like five week though didn't make any difference ad my top ear piercing was quite painful for about a year never hardly wered it has the ear was sore after a day of wearing it and it is not a comftable piercing to fall asleep I as it digs In, if my top ear piercing healed up I would not get another one as really I don't think it is worth it to be honest
