Depends on a number of things such as metabolism rate of person, weight of person, and amount of nicotine ingested. But on average, it is about 10 days.

Added 3/27/2012

Tobacco tends to get out of blood very quickly when compared to urine. The detection window for tobacco in blood is approximately 6-8 hours since the intake of the drug. If you are going to take a blood test, make sure you take it after 6-8 hours of the intake of tobacco to test negative for the drug.

If you are a chain smoker or a regular user of tobacco, the detection window of tobacco in urine can be around 30 days. This is very much true in case of individuals with very low metabolic rate. But, if you are an individual whose metabolic rate is very high or if you are an infrequent user of the drug, then tobacco tends to go out of your system within 12 hours to 5 days. You can try expediting this process by consuming large amounts of water and herbal tea. Ensure that you keep yourself away from the intake of soda during this process.

Researchers recruited 131 smokers-37 Chinese-Americans, 40 Latinos,

and 54 whites-for an analysis. Each volunteer gave a blood sample

before receiving an intravenous infusion of nicotine. Nicotine is cleared from the blood by liver enzymes that convert it to

its metabolite cotinine. Blood analysis showed that it took an average

of 152 minutes for half the injected nicotine to degrade in the blood

of the Chinese-Americans in this study. Nicotine's half-life in whites

and Latinos was 134 and 122 minutes, respectively. So essentially it will take around a week or so to be close to completely gone from the system of a pack a day smoker.

By smokeless tobacco, im going to assume you mean dip. Once you take the dip out, you saliva wont have dip in it unless it comes into contact with any dip particles. When i dip, i can make it were i only need to spit 2 or 3 times, and can swallow the rest because my saliva never comes in contact with the dip. When i dip, i always have a wattlebottle with me, along with my spitter, after a dip, i take it out, rinse me mouth out with the waterbottle, and there is no trace of smokeless tobacco in my saliva after. If u dont rinse, ussasly after continuing tospit for 5-10min, you wont have any left in your mouth

Where can you buy smokeless tobacco in Poznan Poland?

Poland is in the European Union, as such it is illegal to sell any smokeless tobacco products in the EU, the only exceptions being the Nordic countries of the EU (chiefly Sweden) as smokeless tobacco use in Scandinavia is as culturally relevant there as smoking tobacco and is often used to help with smoking cessation there. So the short answer is you can't buy it anywhere in Poland. The long answer however, is that it is possible to have it shipped from Sweden or from the United States or Canada (the only 1st world nations to actually allow the sale of smokeless tobacco domestically) through mail order via the Internet.

Is chewing tobacco safer than smoking?

While the available evidence shows that smokeless tobacco may be less dangerous than cigarettes are, long-term use of chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products can cause serious health problems. That's because they can contain about 30 cancer-causing substances. Like cigarettes, smokeless tobacco also contains nicotine, which can cause you to become addicted.AddictionBecause smokeless tobacco contains nicotine, you can get addicted, just as you can with cigarettes and other tobacco products. Your body may actually absorb more nicotine from chewing tobacco or snuff than it does from a cigarette. Just as with smoking, withdrawal from smokeless tobacco causes signs and symptoms such as intense cravings, increased appetite, irritability and depressed mood. Also, over time, you develop a tolerance for the nicotine in chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products, and you need more to feel the desired effects. This may lead you to dangerous habits - using brands with more nicotine, using more often, leaving chew in your mouth overnight and swallowing tobacco juices.CancerYour risk of certain types of cancer increases if you use chewing tobacco or other types of smokeless tobacco. This includes esophageal cancer and various types of oral cancer, including cancers of your mouth, throat, cheek, gums, lips and tongue. Surgery to remove cancer from any of these areas can leave your jaw, chin, neck or face disfigured, and the cancer may be life-threatening. You also face increased risks related to pancreatic cancer and kidney cancer.CavitiesChewing tobacco and other forms of smokeless tobacco cause tooth decay. That's because chewing tobacco contains high amounts of sugar, which contributes to cavities. Chewing tobacco also contains coarse particles that can irritate your gums and scratch away at the enamel on your teeth, making your teeth more vulnerable to cavities.Gum diseaseThe sugar and irritants in chewing tobacco and other forms of smokeless tobacco can cause your gums to pull away from your teeth in the area of your mouth where you place the chew. Over time you can develop gum disease (gingivitis), which can lead to periodontitis and tooth loss. And like cigarettes, chewing tobacco and other smokeless products can stain your teeth and cause bad breath.Heart diseaseSmokeless tobacco increases your heart rate and blood pressure. Some evidence suggests that long-term use of smokeless tobacco increases your risk of dying of certain types of heart disease and stroke.Precancerous mouth lesionsSmokeless tobacco increases your risk of developing small white patches called leukoplakia (loo-ko-PLAY-kee-uh) inside your mouth where the chew is most often placed. These mouth lesions are precancerous - meaning that the lesions could one day become cancer. If you stop using smokeless tobacco products, the lesions usually go away within a few months.

What is the difference between chewing tobacco and natural tobacco?

Chewing tobacco refers to a form of smokeless tobacco furnished as long strands of whole leaves and consumed by placing portion of the leaf between the cheek and gum or by chewing, and is dried. Natural tobacco is tobacco: an agricultural product processed from the leaves of plants in the genus Nicotiana; It is alive and in the ground and growing. Natural tobacco can also be known as the Flowering Tobacco Plant, which is a fragrant flower found in many gardens.

Is smokeless tobacco good?

No. Tobacco is a harmful substance no matter how it is taken. It can cause cancer of the respiratory system, which leads to a slow and agonizing death, and it somewhat collapses the brain, and both temporarily and long-term paralyzes the immune system. Tobacco taken in chew forms can also cause mouth, stomach, and throat cancer, which are excruciating and usually fatal. Small price to pay for a temporary mild high.
