Here is a secret to a juicy turkey.....
Once you have rinsed the turkey inside and out, stuff the bird with your favorite
stuffing. Here is the secret.....dry the outside of the bird by patting it with clean
paper towels until the bird is completely dry then smother the bird with mayo.
The mayo seals in the juices. "Tent" the turkey with heavy duty foil. Then baste the turkey every hour; this ensures a juicy turkey. Remove the foil the last 30 minutes of baking time. This allows the turkey just enough time to have the perfect crispy texture and a beautiful golden brown appearance.
I use the mayo spread on everything I cook; i.e. chicken, pork chops, fish, and
even on steak! It never fails! Everything I coat with mayo, comes out so juicy, you could cut it with a fork!
P.S. You cannot taste the mayo, no one will ever know! It'll be your little secret
to the perfect meal!
