The range of Agkistrodon piscivorus most commonly called the Cottonmouth or Water moccasin. It does not extend to Pennsylvania. The northern most part of its range is Northeast Virgina. There has never been historically or currently a record for A. piscivorus within PA. The most common mis-identification in Pennsylvania for A. piscivorus is Nerodia sipedon - Northern Water Snake. Nerodia sipedon can show similar characteristics such as aggression, but are non-venomous species.
Note* Before re-editing the correct statement do some research and learn to properly identify the species you think you are referring to. If this is not a field you are familiar with then do not try to mis-lead others.
