A leopard gecko can go two weeks without food, but it is best to feed him/her ten crickets (or more) a week. I find it handy to put about twenty crickets or less in the cage with my leopard gecko at a time, as long as you keep an apple (or potato) slice for the crickets in the container and let him eat at his own pace. My gecko actually eats twenty crickets a week, but I don't think this amount is necessary because he has gotten a very fat tail (that is where they store extra fat). I've never tried pinkies or mealworms before, but I'm sure this method would work the same, but put the food they eat in the container and you don't need to feed quite as much to your leopard gecko.

A leopard gecko can safely go about two weaks with out eating. It has been said that they can live over a month with no food. I do not test the limits on the life of my beloved geckos. I like to feed mine every few days because everybody loves a chubby leopard gecko. This depends on what you are feeding you gecko. If you feed them pinkies (baby mice) you should wait a few days before feeding them again. You should fast them for 2-3 days before you feed them the pinkie. Crickets shoud be fed daily. Drop one or two in the cage and wait for your gecko to eat it before adding more. Add only as many as your gecko will eat and remove any crickets your gecko does not eat. Crickets can stress out your gecko and it has been said that they could bite your gecko. I use super worms. I just add a few worms when the food dish gets empty or when the worms in the food dish are no longer alive.

It varies depending on the type of gecko. For instance, the fat-tailed gecko which originated in the Sahara desert can live much longer without food than other species of gecko because it has evolved to store fat and energy in its tail.

they store their fat in their tails so depending on how fat the tail is the longer they can. Juvinilles are supposed to be fed daily and adults everyother day. If you are leaving for 2 days then feed him/her before you leave and as soon as you get back. But any more than 2 days you need to have somebody either come check on him/her, water, check temps, and play with! If their is apsolutly nobody to watch him/her mist the tank a ton before you leave, put multiple water sources in the tank, and put no less then 3 mealworms (depending how much he/she eats) per day you are gone inside a bowl small enough for your leo to get in but big enough that the worms cant get out. Or you can try cutting the feet off the crickets and putting them in a bowl. They might die though..

Good luck!

Don't push this much past 72 hours, as dehydration can begin, especially if it is still eating.

A baby gecko should eat everyday .... especially at night as they are night animals and there more likely to hunt the crickets

What type? A leopard gecko can go up to two weeks without eating because of the fat storage in its tail, but every species is different.

Typically, Crested geckos are fed 3-4Time weekly (depending on age and size). The maximum period to go without food would be 1-2days for a baby and 2-4days for an adult.
