Individuals who obtain a Green Card through marriage to a U.S. Citizen are granted "Conditional" Green Card status when they enter US just after marriage, which is only valid for two years. Individuals who have been granted Conditional Green Card Status are required to apply to remove the Conditions on their Green Card within 90 days of the date that their Conditional Permanent Resident status expires that is before second wedding anniversary and they are still married.

After conditions are removed the applicant is issued a green card valid for 10 years.

If after getting your citizenship the wedding took place your spouse could enter US on a visa and get the temporary conditional status. This status would expire in two years. 90 days before the status expires you need to apply for permanent resident status or green card by filing Form 751 to remove conditions on residence.

If after wedding you became a US citizen then you can immediately petition for your spouse's green card by filing Form I-130. If spouse is outside US you can do through consular processing for green card. If spouse is already legally staying in US once the visa number becomes available for green card you can file Form I-485 to adjust status to permanent resident status or green card holder status.

If either of the spouse is a US citizen and another is an alien, once they get married the alien is given the conditional status which is valid for 2 years. 90 days or less before the conditional status expires the US citizen needs to file to remove the conditions using Form I-751 for the alien spouse to get permanent resident status or green card.

After three years as a green card holder and if still married the person can apply for US citizenship through US citizen spouse by filing Form N-400.

6-7 months you'll get a permanent visa, and then after 2 years you'll go through interviews and stuff and if they believe your marriage is for real you'll get a green card.
