Paint is one of a number of surface coatings intended to provide some attribute not naturally provided by the substrate.
Colour is a common characteristic, but surface protection from sunlight, or salt spray would be others.
Paints are usually inferior to other bonded protective systems, such as electroplating, or galvanizing; though 'hot dipped' coatings often provide an excellent protection.
Paints degrade usually by the degradation of the carrier material, such as vinyl say; but the pigment itself may also suffer fading due to UV attack.
Strong solvents, or abrasion may be quickly fatal to a paint coating.
The mass is basically NOT affected by gravity. The weight IS affected, and it is equal to mass x gravity.
electrostatic charge is what makes the powder paint stick to the object until the paint has been baked in the oven.
Yes, wind is affected by weather. Weather is affected by currents. Currents are affected by tides. Tides are a result of the moons gravitational pull on the Earth.
friction is critically affected by your what?
A cylindrical paint can has a diameter of 12 centimeters and a height of 16 centimeters. Which isclosestto the volume of the paint can in cubic centimeters?
it is affected because i didd this project
No. Latex paint is not affected by muriatic acid.
Yes, they are. They have 9.7 lead in the paint. For it to be not toxic it has to be at most 6.0
No, the color in spray paint is not affected by bleach. A proprietory concrete cleaner or fine sand impregnated with solvent will reduce the appearance of the paint.
I belive it is affected because it gets rust
In order to stop the paint from peeling on your Chevy, you will have to sand down the affected area, and then paint over it with a new coat. If your 1982 Chevy pickup is peeling off, then it has been repainted. There is nothing you can do except to wax it.
The finish achieved with paint can be affected by: * Temperature as it is painted and dries - too cold and it may go "chalky" or not dry properly, too hot and the thickness of the paint may be affected, or brush marks may be more obvious. * Surface preparation - a variable surface will give a variable finish. Check for a clean, dry and even surface free of loose material like dust or flakes. * Paint age - Has the paint been on the shelf a long time, or got to hot or cold at some point? * Paint mixing - Was the paint well stirred and mixed without bubbles? * Is it the correct type of paint for the material being painted? * Was the brush or roller clean?
I don't know...I need help with this project, can someone help me?? Where can I get the procedures/materials to this project??
Yes! I have used both combinations of wall paint in poster paint & vice versa..I used one to tint the other in each instance & noticed that it affected the adhesion as well as the ability to block stains if adding poster paint to wall (white-ish) paint..by adding wall paint to poster paint it made poster paint stick better, flow from brush better, & require fewer coats..all of this while using a high quality acrylic wall paint..
Most colors are going to hold up in the heat no matter what color they are. They have a clear coat that protects the paint and it will not fade that much. The only way you can tell if your vehicle is fading is if you get into an accident and they only paint the areas that were affected.
I am not sure but you might try soaking the affected area with nail polish remover but it might stain the shirt the color of the paint. If that happens you could possibly then try removing the stain with bleach.
go to hard ware and ask for some kilz paint and cover affected area
