nucleus = mom and dad
nucleolus = teenager with a part-time job
cell wall = walls of a house
vacuole = refrigerator and garbage
cytoplasm = things that fill a house
endoplasmic reticulum = hallways
mitochondria = electricity
ribosome = kitchen
golgi apparatus = closet
lysozome = attached garage
A room and a cell are alike in that they are isolated parts of a collection. The rooms have walls which separate them from the other rooms of the house, and the cells have cell membranes (and cell walls for plant cells) which separate them from the other cells in the tissue. However, you can take the analogy a lot further if you compare the house to the cell.
The Endoplasmic Reticulum is like a hallway
The Mitochondria are like the furnace.
The nucleolus is like the teenager who has a part time job. He can't quite make enough to be on his own, but he does contribute to his own care.
The vacuole is like the the garbage bag.
The lysozome is the kitchen with an attached garage. This is where the eating goes on. It is sort of in the house, but sort of outside the house. And it allows the car with groceries into the house.
The cell wall is like the exterior walls of a house. Some houses are brick, some are wood, and the cell walls can be different densities depending on what the cell is used for.
the endoplasmic reticulum is the Plumbing.
The ribosome is a home business. It produces stuff to go out and benefit the cell.
The Golgi apparatus is the coat room, or closet. It provides clothing for the cells occupants before they leave the cell.
the centrosome is like a divorce lawyer.
Similar to a wall with doors and open spaces. Doors would be analogous to selective transmembrane protein that require energy to be opened. There would also be open gaps in the wall of specific sizes to let in and out certain molecules. A molecule that can't fit through the open gap comes "knocking" and someone (ATP - chemical energy carrier) touches the door to open it, letting the molecule in.
The cell membrane is similar to a front door because the front door lets people get in and out of the house. It's also because the locks on the front door can tell which people should be allowed to enter or not.
The cell membrane is comparable to a hallway in a house because materials can pass through it. This is the method that cells use to share resources and information.
They are both selectively permeable. You don't let strangers in your house, but you let your family and friends in. same with the cell membrane.
Maybe a screen door. It controls what enters and exits the cell. It lets some things in, but doesn't let others in. :) Hope this helps!
The cell membrane is like a door or a window because they are letting things in and out
The cell membrane is the door
homeostasis
the coils of radiator provide a large surface area from which heat is radiated in to a room which a cell organelles have a structure similar to that of radiator? how is their structure related to their function
he was trying to explain something to you so you will get it better
The control center of the cell is the nucleus because it contains the genetic information (DNA).
Chloroplast in a plant cell performs photosynthesis which give the cell energy and food. Mitochondria is the power house of the cell and creates energy too.
The cell wall is similar to the outside walls of a house. They both provide structure for the inside.

A chloroplast.
Living room in Japanese is commonly expressed as an i-ma or living space. Large traditional houses sometimes only have one living room and can function as a dining room, study room, or even a bed room. This is important to know because Japanese furniture is portable and when not used can be stored in an oshiire, a small part of the house that is used for storage.
The structure that house a eukaryotic cells DNA is known as the nucleus. The nucleus has a membrane that is similar to a cell membrane.
Cellular phones and telephones(house phones) are similar because you talk and listen through them
The East Room Is the largest room in the White House.
he was trying to explain something to you so you will get it better
Room in the House was created in 1955.
it is the power house of a cell
The front door to your house because it determines what comes in and out of the house.
