The Tripitaka is treated with alot of respect and care as Buddhist people think it incudes all infomation and views to last a life time. They also think that God's word are in the text. The Tripitake is not allowed to touch any dirty surface in any way shape or form. It is not allowed to enter the bathrrom as the germs. Buddhist people also treat the Tripitaka with hate and despite as the man who wrote it was pure evil and was the hated person.

The Tripitaka (three baskets) is a set of books that contains the Buddha's teachings. It is comprised of the Sutras, sermons and teachings of Buddha; Abhidharma, discourses on interpretation of the doctrine; and Vinay, rules for monks and nuns in monastic life. So the Tripitaka defines what Buddhism is and how we are to live our lives.
