Virus penetrates its genetic material into the host. The genome is then inserted randomly on a point of the host genome. Since it is an random event, it can block a pathway of that particular or cause any mutation due to the insertion of viral genome.

Which component of a virus is lacking in a cell?

Both a living cell and a virus contain nucleic acid. The virus has a capsid, whereas a living cell does not.

What happens to cells when virus enters it and how is the production of cancer cells being treated?

The invasion of virus began with the attachment of the virus on the targeted host cell. The virus will inject its genetic information ( either DNA or RNA, can not be both) into the cell, leaving its protein coat outside of the cell. The genetic information which is injected by the virus will take over the mechanism of the cell; the genetic material of the virus will direct the host cell to reproduce more virus and when the viruses is reproduced, it is released into the surrounding to infect other host cell. Production or the source of cancer cell is nothing related to the virus. The cancer cell is produced when there is extreme radiation, deaminating agent, base analog and acridine derivative which will affect the normal cell cycle and lead to uncontrollable cell division (mitosis) and because the cell produced has no function (it is not differentiated), it compete with other healthy, normal cell for space and food. A way to treat this cancer is to inhibit the cell cycle of the cancerous cell. One of the method is radiotherapy.

What are viruses?

Viruses are very small organisms - most cannot even be seen with a regular microscope. They cannot reproduce on their own. They must enter a living cell, which becomes the host cell, and "hijack" the cell's machinery to make more viruses. The virus are nothing but one kind of interrupt. The virus can interrupt in your system and affect it by some softwareswhat is a virus to you

What is important to transport within the cell?

genetics!

How does a virus affect humans?

A virus affects humans by invading a cell. The virus then forces the cell to produce viral material rather than cell material. This causes the cell to replicate the virus rather than itself.

Cell in which a virus reproduces?

a virus can reproduce in any cell it is meant for. like, you can't get a skin virus in your stomach. some viruses affect more than one kind of cell

How can a virus use the cell machinery of the blood cell?

it is because virus does not have a cell machinery to divide itself. when it comes to affect our body's tissue, it uses the blood cell's machinery to divide and infect other blood cell.

How does a virus affect cell functions?

DNA, then RNA - it replicates itself and spreads. In doing so, breaks cell walls.

Where can I get a Drawing of a virus cell?

No where. A virus is not a cell.

How virus causes influenza?

A virus gets into the body, inject its genetic information into a cell, then the cell explodes, making more viruses. The cells they target affect different things, causing different ailements.
