Swans are very territorial and fierce creatures. If they feel threatened they will flap their wings and honk as a warning. If the warning is not enough they will attack pecking and biting until the threat dies or goes away.

It is Adapted by having webbed feet to swim faster, a beak to eat certain foods, feathers to keep them warm and there wings become bigger to scare off predators
