The planet's long term warming and cooling is closely related to solar variation, but not the recent global warming and climate change.

Miltun Milankovich determined the temperatures historically and predicted future temperatures based on planetary orbits and proximity to the sun. This closely relates to the data found several decades later at Vostok.

The most compelling evidence is the samples taken of historic temperature at Vostok. The known variations in solar irradiation due to the variations in the orbit of our planet verses known positions of the larger planets corresponds perfectly with these samples and agrees with the current warming trend we all understand began over 10,000 years ago and is right at the apex currently.

When all the larger planets are on one side of the sun, our orbit becomes very non elliptical. This explains why we are seeing warming in the Northern hemisphere (including a 4% loss of ice in the Arctic). It also explains why we are still seeing ice growth in the Antarctic (0.9% growth).

The other possible explanation, given by alarmists is that CO2 is behind this event. This lacks credible scientific explanation though. Carbon dioxide has never driven temperature, even when higher then currently. It has always followed temperature and we understand why. The oceans absorb 80% of all carbon dioxide and can not do so in warm temperatures.

To help make the carbon dioxide issue try to fit better, some political figures are ignoring the fact that scientists claimed our atmosphere was 440 ppm in the 1880's. Using the same methods that these science experts used then on samples today, we get 378 ppm. It was certainly not their methodology that was At Fault. Perhaps they ignore this data for some more political reason?

I recently read an eye opening article on solar climate change. I never really thought about climate change from a solar system point of view. After reading the article, it does seem apparent that other planets in our solar system are going through a rapid climate change along with earth. It makes me think now that humans may not be the problem as the issue is not just related to earth.

Heat and other energetic radiation from the sun causes climate and weather changes. A very large fraction of changes in weather, including warming and cooling climate trends, are brought to us by the oceans. For instance, the North Atlantic oscillation ( a cycle of temperature changing regularly over time) has had an effect on localized warming in Greenland and nearby parts of the Arctic. On the other hand, the North Atlantic oscillation has no effect on Sweden and Norway. In fact, last year a northern ocean bay there froze impassibly for the first time in recorded history. Oddly, this phenomenon may be changing in a way that could leave Greenland and England a deep freeze in the near future, by altering the warm Gulf Stream ocean current.

The Pacific Ocean Decadal (every ten years, more or less) oscillation has a great effect on the weather and climate where I live in the Pacific Northwest. The general effect is to make winters more mild than the land east of the Rocky Mountains, for example.

A study (Usoskin 2005) compared the sun and climate over the past 1150 years and found that temperatures closely matched solar activity. However, since 1975, global temperatures have been rising but solar activity has been relatively steady.

So the recent global warming has not been caused by solar variation.

Modern kids are used to having their time and activities fully structured. What is widely lacking, however, is a good deal of discipline. Parents are often too afraid to step up to the plate and draw the line. That doesn’t mean that they don’t sense that this type of thing is grossly needed in their children’s lives. For this reason, a boot camp for kids can be extremely appealing. If you need a project that has meaning for your summer, creating a boot camp for kids can be both emotionally and financially fulfilling. Here is how to get started.

Know Your Audience

Understanding your audience, or the type of kids that you will be dealing with, can make or break your efforts at creating a boot camp for kids. In almost all cases, you will be dealing with kids that have some sort of issue. If you want to really be ambitious, you can focus on troubled kids, such as those that have been involved with the law. You will, however, have to be very prepared. If you don’t feel that you have what it takes to reach out to these kids, advertise your boot camp for kids to a different demographic. Either way, expect to deal with attitudes, laziness and other standard conflicts.

Develop a Mission

Part of the experience of boot camp for kids is hard work. This must, though, be coupled with a distinct mission that your kids can believe in. A good mix of love and labor brings out the best in kids, so have a firm goal in mind when you start your boot camp for kids. Let them know that you believe in them and that you have values that they can get behind and believe in. This is often the aspect of boot camp for kids that really makes lasting impressions and changes.

Don’t Sell Yourself Short

It’s not possible to underestimate the importance of planning. You will be dealing with kids that need a lot of hands-on care. This means that you will need to hire qualified staff, provide proper shelter and a steady supply of food. Carefully assess your financial needs before venturing into a boot camp for kids. While you may be able to greatly touch these young lives, your effectiveness will significantly decrease without adequate funding.

How much power do solar panels provide?

A common solar panel can produce around 200 watts of power and can vary based on the size and efficiency of the solar power you chose. There are also three things that can affect the amount of electricity that a solar panel produces: the amount of sunlight, the size of the panel and the efficiency of the solar cells.
