filtration works by adding sugar to the solution. 2 spoons would be enough. the one the sugar has dissolved, heat the substance over a flame till the chemicals separate from each other and the sugar disappears. sugar helps in the separation of the chemicals because it allows the substance to filter more efficiently.

Do whole house water filtration systems work?

Whole house water filtration systems do work. The key to choosing the right filtration system for your home is to do your research. You should also check out; the length of warranties; filter sizes, and the frequency of filter changing, and also how much the system will change the cost of your monthly water bill.

Why do you need to carry out two types of filterations to achieve purification of solids in recrystallization work?

The compound that you are trying to recrystallize is soluble in hot solvent but relatively insoluble in cold solvent. You also must remove an impurity that is insoluble in hot and cold solvent. The first filtration (a hot filtration) is to filter out the impurity. The second filtration (a cold filtration) is to filter out the (hopefully pure) recrystallized compound.
