All refrigerants remove and reject heat in the same way they just do so at different temperature and pressure relationships, for example, water at sea level "boils" or changes state at or above 212F, we can control the boiling point by adding or reducing the pressure exerted upon it. Water in a 30" vacuum will "boil" at room temperature. We can increase the boiling point or temperature by increasing pressure above ambient which is how an autiomotive radiator operates, the radiator cap holds 3 to 12 lbs of pressure and this determines the boiling point.

Refrigeration works this same way, R 22 refrigerant at 70 psi will always be at 40F and above or below t will boil or condense.

Refrigerant "boils" to remove heat and "condenses" to reject the heat outdoors.

What is the temperature of a household refrigerator?

The ideal refrigerator temperature range is 1°-4.5°C (34°-40°F) . Bacterial and mold growth are considerably slowed down at these temperatures, thus retarding food spoilage. Since water freezes at 0°C (32°F), this prevents fresh foods from freezing, although when the temperature is at the low end of the range, some areas in the refrigerator may be below the freezing point.

Why is the fridge freezing food at the bottom?

The refrigerator temperature control(s) is set to high. The refrigerator may have one or two controls. If it has only one control, it is used for the freezing(freezer) compartment andthe refrigerated(non-freezing) compartment as well. Simply lower the dial until the lower refrigerator stops freezing food but not so low that the freezer(upper) compartment stops freezing. If it has two controls, they should be labeled. One is for the upper(freezer)compartment and the other is for the lower(Non freezing/refrigerator) compartment. Turn down only the control for the lower(refrigerator)compartment until the food stops freezing.

What is an ideal temperature for the inside of a refrigerator?

The ideal temperature for the inside of a refrigerator is between 35-38 degrees Fahrenheit (1.6-3.3 degrees Celsius). This temperature range helps to keep perishable foods fresh by slowing down bacterial growth while preventing freezing. Regularly check and adjust your refrigerator's temperature to ensure food safety.

What temperature should a refrigerator be maintained at?

What are the temperatures of hot and cold water before and after you put them to freeze?

It is not recommended to put hot water in a refrigerator. After freezing water become ice with a temperature down to -18 0C in a home refrigerator.

What happened to the water temperature during freezing?

Water temperature when it is freezing tends to go significantly down. This means that the temperature must get colder in order for water to freeze.

Will a 50 degree refrigerator spoil food?

Milk will spoil at any temperature from freezing on up until it gets to pasteurization temperatures. The colder temperatures just slow down the bacterial activity.

Why refrigerator may freez foods?

because when food is refrigerated it prevents bacteria from growing on your food, bacteria that can harm you, or kill you! Sometimes your refrigerators temperature may vary. This is likely due to the amount of food inside. If the refrigerator is freezing your food it is too cold. Adjust the refrigerator's thermostat to a lower numeric setting on the control so that the temperature is steady at 38 degrees.

Which kind of temperature will slow down an organism decay?

It will slow down an organism's decay in freezing temperatures.
