a sponge holds water because of its holes
Absorbent
OK now spongebob started because Stephen Hillenburg was working for an aquarium and he had to make a weekly comic for the aquarium and the main character was bob the sponge and he was a round sea sponge. When Stephen quit and made the show he still had bob the sponge in his mind so he made a show about a sea sponge and called it spongebob squarepants and in the TV show he is shaped like a kitchen sponge so that the younger viewers can better associate spongebob with a sponge as most of them probably haven't seen a sea sponge. So that is the origins of spongebob
Sea Sponges, They Absorb The Most Water Or Any Fluid And Synthetic Sponges Don't Have As Much Absorbency, Also They Don't Have As Many Holes.

why do spong absorb the most water

cotton and a pink green or purple sponge cotton and a pink green or purple sponge
Bounty and bawny are the ones that absorb most water!
The independent variable is the thing that changes with in the experiment to make it an experiment. For example, say I was doing an experiment on something such as "Which sponge brand can absorb the most water?" The independent variable would be the different sponge brands because it would be the thing that changes with in the experiment. Otherwise, if you didn't make an independent variable (the different sponge brands in this case) it wouldn't be an experiment because a sponge of the same brand should hold about the same amount of water as the others.
yes. ex.) Bounty.
a sponge becuase it hs tiny little holes in it and every time i wash my kids dishes its always full of water
Polypropylene ranks as one of the effective water absorbent materials, by far. You will find it in any number of different applications, from domestic through commercial to industrial. It is perhaps best known as a water absorbent.
The holes in a sponges actually make it have little pockets that can store water. But sponges are actually a lot more absorbent because of there size. I mean compare a paper towel to a sponge which is bigger in width. The sponge, so its capacity is wider then anything else that can absorb water.
the answer is yes. i have done the experiment with three different size sponges of the same brand. and it turned out to be that the largest sponge, absorbed the most water, being 2 cups.
to see which paper towel absorb the most water you have to try the type of paper that you wanna compare the first step that you're going to do is put 250ml of water in a container and put the paper towels into the containers then you get a container to measure how many drops absorb that paper and you do the same with the another papers after you do that you have to measure again 250ml and put it in the container and you measure one minute by paper then you see the results you divided by and it gives you the answer.
