In Tuck Everlasting- do you think Winnie does the right thing in freeing Mae?

Things get a little ugly- Granny character either shoots or hits ( using the weapon as a club_ Man in Yellow Suit) ( is he an FBI agent) over the head and he dies- cop killers are guilty of a capital crime! it is not stated he is a cop but the idea is he may well be a detective or FBI man- FBI was founded in l908. Granny is slated to hang- but- thunderstorm erupts at the jailhouse- well I wont spoil it.

∙ 9y agoIn "Tuck Everlasting", once they have managed to break into the jail, Winnie plans on changing places with Mae. She reasons that by the time they have learned about the switch, Mae and the Tucks will all be long gone, and there won't be anything the law can do about it.

∙ 13y agoWinnie helps Mae escape the jail house at midnight.The constable comes by and think it is mae.In the morning the constable finds out it is not Mae.So he takes Winnie out of jail because she is ten.

∙ 12y agoin the book she thinks he is really cute, and likes him, but probily thinks that he is a little weird because he wants to get married to her when she turn seventeen, but in the movie they are totally in love, they kiss and lay next to each other and at the end of the movie when they are leaving Jesse yell " Winnie foster i will love you till the day i die" and i always cry during that part because he will never die and she doesn't drink the water from the spring and then dies and breaks his heart and he will always love her and it took him so long to find a girl like Winnie to love and then she goes and breaks his heart i blame tuck because he told her that she shouldn't drink the water and he put all those bad thoughts into her head and that caused her to not drink the water.
