LSD is a great mind opening and altering drug . Remember with LSD you should stay calm and always remember that what is happening isn't real !

Ok firstly it depends on the dose you take , and the setting your in . If your in a happy setting and mood , the drug will enhance it .

BUT if you are in a bad setting or mood it will enhance that as well

The average dose for a first timer , which i pressume you are is around 1 tab .

The tab is taken orally.

heres what happens....

After around a hour to 2 hours you start to feel the effects .

The first effects are usually seeing things in great detail . So for example you can see all the individual hairs on your skin clearly . And you can really appreciate the textures of things .

After around 2 hours of tripping you will start to see patterns on the wall such as

You will hear thoughts and maybe sometimes even see them .

With a regular dose of acid don't expect to see purple elephants and stuff ! Its different to that .

After the trip you feel a little freaked out . Especially if its your first time .

But you will be fine

At the end of the day each acid trip is different and you wont know exactly what to expect .

Everyone reacts differently to it .

Acid is a safe drug and is not as bad as the government or DEA makes it .

If you take alot of Acid i suggest you get some one to be with you who is sober , just to keep an eye out .

Happy trippiing !

Very little is known about precisely how LSD produces its psychedelic effects in the brain beyond that it seems to bind to the serotonin receptors, and that it is metabolised out of the body roughly an hour after ingestion. The fact that the "trip" persists for around 8-12 hours after that would seem to indicate that the chemical itself does not directly cause the "trip", but rather may act as a chemical catalyst, starting off a chain of biochemical events which lead to alterations in perception.

Subjective effects can vary greatly from person to person, but generally include visual distortion, sensory enhancement, "visuals" (patterns and colours, seen with eyes closed and sometimes open), changes in perception of time, Synesthesia and heightened suggestibility and emotion, both negative and positive.

When LSD enters the brian, it increases serotonin levels, especially at the 5-HT2A receptor subtype. It is this 5-HT2A receptor that causes its psychedelic effects. It interrupts the brain's abilty to perceive and interpret its senses. LSD is quickly metabolized by the body, but the 5-HT2A receptors continue to fire. This rush in serotonin also causes euphoria.

LSD causes delusions and hallucinations. Users may feel increased creative thinking, sensory enhancement, mood lift, subjective feelings of increased awareness and sense of self, anxiety, distorted perception of time, and confusion, among other effects.

It reacts with receptors which in turn affect your perception, but does not damage or kill any brain cells or permanently affect its structure

Does LSD contain codeine?

No. LSD is Lysergic acid Dethylamide. In it's pure laboratory form it's just what it is -- pure LSD. Street LSD is often cut with other drugs, most notably amphetamines and other stimulants. This happens when the stimulant is less pricey than the LSD, so less LSD can be used with similar effects, as stimulants tend to "enhance" the trip. Codeine is a completely unrelated medication that has no perceived interaction with LSD.

Can you control LSD?

An LSD trip may be controlled in many aspects, LSD happens mostly in your mind and as long as you are in a safe environment where you feel comfortable, a trip will remain passive. Higher doses will prove themselves more difficult to control but as you gather experience on psychedelic drug use it will become easier to handle.
