I do not deal with classical/Old cars, but if you can, take the headlights out (Backlights) Carefully, and trace the wires back to the problem or if you can be more specific, i can help you. And if you are talking about putting in some new wires, i advise you to seek auto help, because they will have to use tools.

What was the last year Cadillac had wing tail lights?

Need a better definition on "wing" tail lights. In the late 40's through late 50's, the Cadillac had tail lights at the top back of the rear quarter panels. 1956 was the last of the tail lights at the very top of the quarter panel. 1950 through 56 tail lights were more like bubbles at the top of the tail fin. In 57 and 58, while models varied on tail light placement, the tail light lenses were more "aerodynamically" shaped with the car. In 1959, the tail light lenses took on a bullet shape, and while near the top of the quarter panel, they were not at the top of it. Throughout the 60's, while the tail lights remained in the "wing" they were not at the top of it. This remained the trend until about 1964, when the tail lights took up the entire up and down length of the quarter panel end. In some Caddys, this is still the trend. However, in Eldorados, Sevilles, and other models of Cadillac, the tail lights could be up and down, across the back, or even square (for example the 1976 through 1979 Seville).

On a 91 Camry should the brake lights come on as tail lights when you turn on lights or remain out until brakes are applied even if lights are turned on?

In the back should be tail lights which always come on when the headlights or parking lights are on, and stoplights which come on whenever the brakes are pressed. The stoplights should be brighter than the tail lights, but they should be separate.

Do clearance lights have to be amber?

Yes, all clearance lights have to be amber. The only exception would be on the back of a trailer. Not the tail lite, but the light on the side of the tail light. This has to be red.

If it is the same as the 1993 version, there will be screws/bolts in the back of the bed that you can unscrew/unbolt and u should be able to get at the tail-lights from there.

Are tail lights and brake lights the same on a 1999 Nissan altima?

Tail lights and break lights are different things pretty much all the time. You see, tail lights run all the time the car is on and break lights only turn on when the break is pressed. If you would like to find out which lights are the breaklights, have a friend watch the back of the car, turn it on, push the breaks a few times and see which lights flash. The lights that flash are your break lights!

What if your brake lights work but not the tail lights?

Look for a fuse labeled TAIL LIGHTS. There are 2 separate circuits, one for brake turn and flasher and the other is for tail lights.
