Here is a strategy on how to beat the first game:

Step 1: Avoid losing power. While this may be obvious, checking the cameras is a rookie mistake. The only camera place you need to check is Pirate's Cove, to watch Foxy. This camera is 1c.

Step 2: Check the lights. If you are not checking on Foxy, check the door lights. This is important, as I someone sneaks up on you, it may be the end of the line for you. Turn them on and off quickly, and check each. To check the doors, make sure Chica is not in the window and make sure that you can't see Bonnie's shadow. If you click the door or light buttons and they don't work, you have an animatronic in your room. When you put down your camera, you will die, so don't check on Foxy and don't panic. If Freddy gets in the room, he will attack at random. If you are at 5am, you will have a small chance of surviving.

Step 3: Check Pirate's Cove. As previously mentioned, the only camera you need to check on is Foxy. After you check if no animatronics are at the door, check on camera 1c, to the left side of the camera feed. If the curtain is closed, you can see Foxy's face, or he is standing near the camera, you are fine. If he is gone, and you can hear loud thudding, close the left door. He is coming. You will hear a few metallic bangs, than silence. Check the lights to see if Bonnie is there, than open the door if it is safe. Remember, don't forget about the right door! It causes many players to die.

Tip: When Foxy bangs he takes power. On later lights he can take around 20% power. So, check on him every fifteen or so seconds, but don't check on him too much or too little. Manage the fox!

Step 4: Listen to audio. You may want to mute Phone Guy's calls on the first few nights so you can hear the audio. The game provides a little bit of audio information, so you can tell where the animatronics are.

Step 5: You win. Congrats, sport. You win. Never come back.
