∙ 14y agoYou need to activate and verify the email you defined when opening the account and you also need to verify the credit card via entering a 4-digit number that will show up in your next credit card billing report.
In the UK, you need to add your bank account details to your PayPal account. PayPal will then make two very small deposits to your bank account (this will take several days to arrive). Once you have located the amounts on your bank statement, log into your payPal account and enter the two amounts - see the Related Links section below for more details.

∙ 11y agoOutside of the United States you may have the option of verifying by credit card. You will have to do a process similar to the above but by credit card. Regardless, it will tell you in your account how to verify your account and you cannot miss it as it will press you to do it.
