You cannot really "read" it, since it is all basically a bunch of letters, numbers, and shapes. If you really want to, right click on the .DLL file, then choose the "Open with" option. Then look for notepad. When you find notepad, click it. That will then open the DLL file for you to view.

I expect if you purchase the full version of Finale, there will be an option to do this, but I did it using Finale Notepad (Free download) to play the music, and Audacity (Free download) to record it. Start Finale Notepad and load in your music file. Start Audacity and press record. Switch back to Finale Notepad and press play. When it's finished switch back to Audacity and press stop. You can now save the file in Audacity. You may need to experiment a little with the volume controls. HTH Phil.
No. Some programs, such as MS-Word, save information automatically, every few minutes; if you use Google Docs, information is saved online every few seconds. But Notepad doesn't have such a feature. Some of the Notepad substitutes may have such an option. Note that in general, Notepad is a very limited program, so you may want to get a Notepad substitute for other reasons as well, not just for autosaving. For example, Notepad++, while NOT having autosave (at least in the version I am currently using), allows you to open multiple windows, search among multiple windows, allows multiple undos, and in general has a neater editing interface - for example, Ctrl-Backspace works, to delete a word to the left, whereas in Notepad, this doesn't work.
1. Open Windows Notepad word processor software... Click [Start] > Programs > Accessories > Notepad ...and, a fresh blank screen Notepad window should appear ready for typing text into. 2. Type into Notepad the following line of VBScript code... MsgBox("Hello, world!") 3. Use Notepad window File > Menu option to save this file as being called: greetings.vbs *NOTE*: Save the file to Desktop; somewhere you can find the file, again, very quickly and easily. 4. Go and find the file you just saved; and, left double click on it to RUN/make the code execute. A standard Windows message box should appear which displays the text message... Hello, world! 5. Click on the message box [OK] button to close the dialog box down. Congratulations, you've just gone and created your first VBScript program; which, I hope, was a success. ;-)
It is because you are trying to send a fax from a 32-bit application on a 64-bit O/S. You can confirm this by faxing from a 64-bit app (like Notepad on Win 7 64-bit) I think you'll find that your cover page option is no longer grayed out for that particular job.
Have you tried double clicking?
