How do you turn off auto correct on iPhone?
Turn Auto -Correction on or off : Choose General > Keyboard and turn Auto -Correction on or off . By default, if the default keyboard for the language you select has a dictionary, iPhone automatically suggests corrections or completed words as you type.

Hold down the lock button on the top of the iPhone.
When the song is playing tap the album art showing on the screen. A grey panel slides down showing a timeline and three icons, repeat, genius and shuffle. Icons in blue are e…nabled, white for disabled. Tap the shuffle icon to disable it.
Hold down the power button until it says slide to power off on the top of the screen leave it by itself it will turn off by itself

I think that you need to recharge your mobile device.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button located at the top left of the device until you see a red slider appear. Slide it to shutdown.

For the iphone 4: I have researched and can't find anything that tells how to edit the auto-correct function, but if you go to settings/general/reset, there is an option to "…reset keyboard dictionary"... This effectively wipes out any annoying auto-correct errors. Then again, it also deletes any custom auto-correct settings your phone has already saved.
iPhone turns off either you lock it manually or it goes automatically to save the battery life, sometimes it annoys you specially if you have set passcode so you can expand as… well as completely turn off auto screen lock.

Are you sure you mean auto correct - or predictive text (where the phone tries to guess the word you're typing). Turning predictive text on or off can usually be found in the …set-up menu of most phones.
No it will do it automatically to restart itself once you have updated it via iTunes, it's a restart rather than a power off.
