Just had second surgery on my mini schnauzer and the first cost almost 1000.00 for everything leading up to surgery. I called around to vets when this occurred a second time and got the next vet to do everything including x-rays for 400.00 total . Check with your local humane society and they might know of a vet that is more cost effective like mine did.
