You take out the plastic console piece "the one that goes around the stereo and ac button" its kind of a pain you have to put it in neutral to pull it off. it will not come completely off but it will give you enough room to get to it. And if you know what your doing from there on it should be easy just commense to removing the stereo. i think it has like 4 screws holding it in around the top and bottom edges. It has been a while since i did it. It does not give you much room to work with the wires and stuff.
