Depends on what type of corrosion it is. If it is general/uniform corrosion (i.e. rust), you could use an anode, galvanizing, paint, powder coating or various types of plating. If it fretting (break-down due to rubbing friction), then you would want to reduce the friction (WD-40) and plate it with a corrosion resistant metal (e.g. electroless nickel plating). If the corrosion is galvanic (i.e. copper/gold contacts on circuit board), then electroless nickel would need to be thinnly plated between the copper and gold to stop corrosion
If you need more information, I put a link to a free report below. Most people think corrosion is rust, but there are many types of corrosion and a few ways to prevent it.
The only solution I know of is to make it worse.
You add a plug (of some kind) of some metal even more corrodible than your structural metal ... it adsorbs the spare ions to protect your base. Often called an anode.
You can prevent galvanic corrosion it several different ways:
1) don't mix metals
2) use an electtrical insualtor between the two metals
3) coat or paint the metal that is less resistant
4) avoid the contact of the two metals with an electrolite (like water)
5) use cathodic protection
by isolating the two metals and avoid contact

Some good methods for teeth corrosion prevention is to brush teeth with a soft bristled tooth brush. It is also a good technique to ensure that one is not pressing too hard on the tooth brush.
constant cycle of cleaning/inspection
corrosion science and control means the act of scientist prevent corrosion and find the way to control it
Typically they are coated or plated in corrosion resistant substances.
electroplating is an effective method to prevent the metal from corrosion
The anode creates a galvanic cell in which magnesium or zinc will be corroded more quickly than the metal of, let's sa a tank.
since metal is a reactive metal,it is not resistant to corrosion(rusting).to prevent rusting we can: 1.galvanize iron.i.e.,coat Zn over iron. 2.greasing.i.e.,coat it with oil. 3.alloying.i.e.,making iron an alloy by mixing it with another substance. (example):-stain less steel is an alloy(Fe+Ni+Cr) and it is resistant to corrosion 4.electroplating

One way to prevent the corrosion of iron is by applying a protective coating, such as paint or a corrosion-resistant metal coating. Another method is by using corrosion inhibitors, which are chemicals that can be added to the environment around the iron to slow down or prevent the corrosion process. Additionally, ensuring proper maintenance and regular inspection of iron structures can help identify any signs of corrosion early on and take appropriate actions to prevent further damage.
Cathodic protection is a way of preventing or controlling corrosion of a metal structure.
Typically they are coated or plated in corrosion resistant substances.
It is normal that using materials which are not corroded corrosion is avoided.
by covering with stainless steel
The best way to prevent encopresis is to prevent constipation
Tin, Zinc, and galvalume
to prevent corrosion
You want to stop chemical reactions that cause corrosion because if you do not then the object will corrode away. For instance if you live in a maritime climate (where there is sea salt in the air) a car will go rusty and fall to bits in a few years if you do not prevent the rusting (corrosion) by keeping the metal painted or galvanized.
Eliminating exposure to textile dust is the surest way to prevent byssinosis.
Hand washing is the best way to prevent the flu.
