This light will come on when after about 4500 miles since last oil change and a reset. It will stay on for a few seconds after you start the engine until you reach 5000 miles, in which it will stay on constantly until reset.
To reset the light, insert the key and turn to "ACC". Hold down the odometer button while turning the key to the "ON" position. Continue to hold the button and watch the odometer. Dashes in the odometer window will count down until there are no more dashes in the odometer window.
HAs it had an oil change recently ? Also check oil level.
A maintenance light on a Toyota Camry can be reset by your mechanic after you have the work done that is needed. You also may be able to get instructions by checking your manual.
On my 04 Camry that means it's time for an oil change.
Check engine light or required maintenance light. Procedure for resetting required maintenance light just answered. Check engine light requires an OBD II to determine problem and turn the light off.
This is how to reset "Maintenance Required" light on Toyota Camry with "Smart Key" feature. This works on 2007 and newer Camry models, including the Camry Hybrid. Put the odometer on "Trip A." Turn off the car, hold down the odometer button and, without putting foot on the brake, push "Start" button twice (while continuing to hold down the odometer button). Watch the display . . . it will speak for itself.
No, it means that it's time to change oil or one of components has failed and has to be replaced.
You need a special computer for that. Check the gas cap first, make sure its tight, sometimes that sets it off.

I have yet to do this on my 2005 Camry, but according to the Toyota Tech you must turn the key switch over (do not crank car) the check engine light will appear, now hold down the button on the odometer and at the same time turn the switch off than back on.
What year ?
