You need to check you are definitely pushing the right buttons. I have an 04 Mazda 6 and was pushing the wrong Seek ^ it is the opposite to the Auto M end of the panel. If it works for the majority just have another go.
press 6 them am 1 at a time if it does not work call me on 07828329160 as i have done quite a few of these in the past

I have a 2001 MAZDA tRIBUTE WITH A FACTORY 6 DISK CD CHANGER. Can't get cds to load or eject. Radio and cassteet player work fine.
Press the CD eject button !!!
Disconnect the battery for a minute.
there was a TSB (technical service bulliten) realsed about static elctricity causeing the CD player to "cut out" check the fuse, disconect your battery for 30 seconds, then check to see if it works again. or take it to Mazda, they'll give it a once over and determine if the CD module needs replacement
If your Mazda 6 6 CD autochanger does not work then remove the old (broken) one: http://www.browse.to.it/mazda6.HTML The symptoms are: 1/ won't change 2/ won't recognise the CD unit at all 3/ won't do anything but CD is recognised try here for a replacement: http://www.browse.to.it/c6.HTML
Disconnect your battery, reconnect, voila.
it means the cd player can,nt read the cd
you have to reset the computer.

take the CD player apart
