The knock sensor is located on the back of the engine, if you reach over the top to the backside you can feel it. it is attached be two screws and you will have to undo the plug at one end. Takes about 10 min to do it. Helps to h ave someone under the car to see it from the back side and you (on top) can pull the plug and rout the new one.

Incorrect. There is one bolt going through the center of the sensor, which can be accessed from below with the oil filter removed. It is NOT possible to access the sensor from the top without removing the intake manifold, a very difficult task .
