How do you replace the fog light on a 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXI?
I own a 99' model sebring LXI. If you have the original fog light housing the bulb that goes inside is an H3 bulb. 9006 is your Low beam and a 9005 is your high beam.
To change the bulb you have to get under the car and look for where the fog light housing is located. You then have to unscrew the round cap at the rear of housing. It will be snug due to the o-ring that seals it. Turn it counter clockwise to remove cap. There will be a little metal retaining clip that clips to a crome peice that has 2 screws in it. remove that clip and the bulb should slide right out.
Ok bulb is out,but still connected to wires - Hold back 2 plastic tabs, plug slides off.

Answer . I had a recall notice for my 97. You may see if your car had a recall notice for the same thing. If it does, just take it to the dealer for them to look at it. If… it is bad they will replace it and it would end up costing you nothing and no headache replacing it.

the fuel filter is located on the drivers side kind of behind and above the fuel tank. you have to jack up the rear of the car and put jack stands under it then get yourself a… 2x4 or similar about 2 feet long to put between the jack and the fuel tank. (you wanna do this so your not resting all the weight of the plastic tank in one spot and take the chance of cracking it) also you want to try to do all of this with the tank as empty as possible. then jack up the jack with your 2x4 so your just putting light pressure on your tank and unbolt the two rear tank strap bolts the one on the drivers side also holds the filter in place. now let the jack down slowly until the tank wont lower anymore and leave it there. There are three lines to disconnect and its out. reverse this to reinstall
the 98 to 2000 sebring coupes with a 2.5 has the cam sensor built into the distributor. you must buy a new or reman one the range from 198.00 to 450.00 depending on the model …your car is.
If you are looking for an inertia or reset switch, Chrysler doesnot use them.
on the same switch that turns your head lights on...you should see a little pull switch at the tip, when you turn on the headlights pull it out...it will not work unless the h…eadlights are on

On my 2001 sebring, my light lever is on the column. After turning on my lights, I gently twist the end portion of the lever out (toward the door) to get the fog lights on

I have the same vehicle and have been doing my own oil changes since I bought the car. It's really easy, you just need about 30 mins free time. First, a few sticky points...… The oil filter is mounted VERY close to one of the oxygen sensors. I have found the only mainstream filter that screws on without any removal of the sensor is the FRAM brand. Mobil 1, nope, Bosch, nope... Also, the engine in your car is quite sensitive to maintenance done "on the cheap." I switched my oil changes to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W-30 and the car runs WAY better. Less tappet clatter on cold starts, better oil pressure throughout oil life... the works. It's an extra few bucks that goes a long way. You'll need 5 quarts of oil and the filter - Roughly $30 in 2009 money. The oil change itself is easy as pie. Pop the hood and remove the oil cap. Lay down next to the passenger front wheel and stick your head against the front bumper. The oil pan is the first bowl shaped thing you can see... with a round indentation right in the middle. On the back, is the drain plug. It measures 17mm and should be replaced every few years so you have a new gasket on it. Remove it and allow the oil to drain. Next, moving towards the front, is the filter - sitting above the oxygen sensor in the exhaust header pipe. Unscrew by hand or use a filter wrench. Be gentle lowering it out the car - and clean up any oil that spills out onto the exhaust parts. While the main drain is still dripping, it's a good idea to check the filter to make sure the gasket came off and isn't stuck to the filter housing on the engine. Replace the drain plug on the oil pan. Tighten it up securely as you don't want to lose it going down the highway! But remember, not so tight that you can't get it back off in 3 or 4 months... Pre-fill the filter with about half a quart of fresh oil. Also put a bead of oil on the gasket. Screw on the filter, being careful not to cross thread. Tighten down to the filter manufacturers instructions (usually 3/4 to 1 full turn after the filter touches the housing/bracket. Put four quarts into the oil fill hole on top of the engine. Put the cap on and start the engine. The oil pressure light will go out right away, then the gauge will bounce up a few seconds later. Don't be alarmed if it takes a few seconds - it's just the filter filling up with new, nice oil. After a minute or so, park the car on a level surface and shut it off. Wait 5 mins and check the dipstick. The level should be right around the upper indent on the stick. Congrats, you just changed your oil!
In Fuel Filters
You must drop the fuel tank.
Jack front of car up after loosening wheel lugs. Safety, safety with supports. Take wheels off. Loosen two bolts on back of brake calipers and take out. Slide whole caliper of…f. Take out old pads. Use wood clamp to push plunger back into the caliper until it stops. Put in new pads. Put caliper back on and apply mucho grease on bolts and reinstall. Put wheels back on, snug lugs, lower car, tighten lugs. Pump brakes. Seat pads. Note, good time to grind down rotors at this time or replace.
2.5L V6 it is under the housing that the lower radiator hose hooks to on the engine.
u need to use a volt meter and set t.p.sensor and adjust the cable unless u can flash comp.
