1/ remove the headlight switch knob by pulling out the knob rotate until you find a slot , use a small blade screwdriver pry the knob off .2 remove the trim on either side of the steering colum ( on my truck this is kind off a chrome colour ) under this trim insert there is one screw per side 3 using a blade screwdriver remove the plastice around the insterment cluster , start at the top working to the side 4 unplug the tank selection switch ( if equiped ) 5 on the automatic yu will have to put the trans in 1st gear to remove the dash cover6 remove the 2 screws holding the headlight switch
Parking switch? Do you mean the parking light switch? If you do, The dash will pull loose on the left top and bottom just above the switch and below. From there you can see how the light switch comes out.
On my 94 ranger its on the break pedal (towards the top) its pretty easy to replace I have changed 3 times in 12 years
Blast the switch with some wd40 and push it in and out a bunch of times, this usually works on fords when the light wont come on but its worth a shot. If no luck you will have to replace the switch.
Im in the same boat as you are but i think you have to disable the airbag and drop the steering wheel to reach it
