Pop the hood and look at the for ignition coil caps with wires running to them just above the Cat Converter on top of the front of the engine on the front of the valve cover!

1. Remove the black long plastic wire cover that says Honda on it! Need a flat head screwdriver!

2. There is a black cap nut holding each of the 4 ignition coil packs on, so you will need a 10MM socket or wrench to remove each nut!

3. Unplug the wire pack from each coil!

4. Pull upward with some pressure to remove each ignition coil. It will be snug, but not to worry as they will come out.

5. If you are also replacing the plugs, you will need a deep well socket 3/8" and a socket extension. Place the extension with socket into the well and over the spark plug and turn counter clockwise until unscrewed. To remove, pull your socket out. If the spark plug slips off the socket, I use a magnetic pickup tool to pull it out!

6. Take your new spark plug, coat threads with anti-seize being careful not to get any on the spark plug tip. place the magnetic pickup tool on top of the spark plug and carefully place the plug down into the well, and use a long screwdriver to hold the plug down and pull the magnet free! Then place your socket with extension onto the spark plug and tighten clockwise! Torque to 13 lbs!

7. Place the new ignition coil pack down into the well.

8. Before pushing it in all the way, plug in the wire pack, align the hole with the screw sticking up, and push the coil down until you feel the rubber seal snap in!

9. Place the cap screw on and hand tighten snug (doing it by feel is OK).

10. Once you have all the ignition coils installed, place the black plastic wire cover back on and you are done! With the right tools and knowledge, this job shouldn't take more than a half hour or so!
