1-desconect battery , drain oil and coolant fluid, remove air intake and all plastics on top, remove spark plugs and valve covers and injector. remove water reservoir and Power Steering too .
2-remove belt and line up the Mark on pulley with the one valve crankshaft pinion and mark chain lose alternator and base, remove front pulley, remove front cover
3- remove chain tension, remove heads valve crankshaft, unplug any house attaches to the head
4- lose any house attached to the heads and remove the heads
it may look simple but just this will take you more than teen hours to do it and don't forget the same to put it back
parts and labor range from $1300.00 TO $1900.00 . machine shop is almost 300 and new set of gaskets is $170.00 , labor is from 700.00 to 1000.00 add fluids and will give you the total amount
if you can is best let a professional do it, it will save you a headache and a half
