Would need to know model no. to be sure but normally you fish the fuel filter from the tank and pull the fuel line out. Now thread twine through the hole and out the fuel cap hole. Cut the new line to a one inch taper, now tie the twine about the middle of the taper add a little motor oil at the tie point and pull through the hole. Replace the fuel filter and you are ready to go.

Cut a piece of fuel line long enough so the bottom end, with the fuel filter, rests on the bottom of the fuel tank. Run the fuel line, in the same location as the old one was and push the other end onto the barb fitting on the carburetor. http://store.chainsawr.com/

50 to 1 on new ones. The old chain saws could have a ratio as much as 16 to 1.
Remove the fuel lines from both Ann's of the fuel filter. The lines can be removed by loosening the clamps. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.
Check your fuel lines, they come out of there holes on the tank.
Mix 1/2 pint (8oz.) for every gallon of gas. 16:1 Ratio
