you are going to have to drop the tank.... place a jack under the gas tank to support it while removing the two tank straps, once removed lower the fuel tank and remove the fill & vent hose's, fuel lines, and electric harness. now just remove the sending unit from the tank. now all you have to do is take out the old fuel pump and replace it then put it all back together shouldn't take more than a few hours...

drop the fuel tank and it's inside. remove the retainer on top then pull out the pump from the fuel tank
