OK this is good for Raccoons, skunks and rabbits . It's Cayenne Pepper. all you do is sprinkle it over what you want them to stay away from and they will first smell it and taste it then they will never come back. for rabbits to stop them from eating your flowers do the same. This WILL WORK because in Africa they rub it on a huge length of string and use it as a fence to keep elephants eating their crops instead of killing them. GOOD LUCK
You can also use physical means to repel raccoons. The easiest way may be to close off any avenues for them to access your attic, garage or other storage space. If they have made their way into a space, waiting until their kittens are grown is a smart move since they will leave on their own. At that time, you can remove nesting materials and feces and close up the area with plywood or other solid materials.
Raccoons are not much afraid of anything except alligator, cotton mouth, rattlesnake and sweaty humans with shotguns. So, you could go without showers for a couple weeks and carry a shot gun around. You might even use it if your in the right neck of the woods. You could have a bunch of cotton mouths and rattlers mixed in with some alligators as pets. Dogs, cats, and traps don't work. Coons are pretty smart. If you don't want to use live gators and snakes go down to your weird potion maker and get gator and snake scent and spread it all around your property. Also do not shower, the sweat will remind them of a redneck with a shotgun. If none of the above works get ahold of your local fish and game people and they should be able to trap them and transport them to another area of the world such as Iraq.
Most wild animals come to your trash or yard for food. As humans go pushing the borders of towns more far and wild areas go vanishing, the displaced animals try to find food somewhere and the trash is the most accessible place.
Usually wild animals of these species are non-aggressive unless under threat. They try very hard not to get in trouble.
If you really want to evict those "visitors", first take measures to discourage them from sticking around. These include removing or closing tight the garbage can and use garbage bags that are scented. Avoid pet food left out at night as well and keep your yard clean of fruits and vegetables. You can also place ammonia-soaked rags near or inside the trash.
Do not trap or kill this visitors, it will not solve your problem as others will come, remember that they are there just for survival scavenging. In the case of wild animals, it is always best to allow them to get away on their own, they know best where to go and how to survive. Once a place becomes no longer a food source they will simply move away.
What you can do is you can just put a cage right in front of your door, if they get over that, then have spears angled off of a wall over the cage. the reason they can get inside is because they can use their hands to open lids and doors and other objects. and if you want a raccoon to stay away from your window, make a scary sculpture and put it behind the window and HOPEFULLY they leave the window alone. and if you are having a raccoon problem, either plow down all the near trees or light of fire crackers every night
There is little that can be done to repel raccoons. Make your yard less inviting by making sure your trash is secure, no pet food should be left outside. If your yard is fenced, a loose dog will discourage them from visiting. They are excellent climbers and can dig so there is little else that can prevent them from getting into your yard. If there is nothing for them to eat, they will ignore your yard.
Remove all enticements that be attracting raccoons to your yard. Make sure trash cans are secured so the animals cannot open them. Do not leave pet food outside, feed your animals in the house or garage. If raccoons are digging in the yard you probably have an infestation of worms and grubs. Call an exterminator.
To get raccoons away you can either chase them away or say shoo
One method to repel raccoons without simultaneously repelling cats is to install floodlights. Covering water sources and garbage cans are options as well.
There is none except to remove anything that draws raccoons to your yard. Keep trash cans securely lidded, leave no pet food outdoors, etc.
