1. Loosen the lug nuts. 2. Jack up the tire. 3. Remove the lug nuts and tire--now rotor and brake caliper should be visible. 4. Use large C clamp, to clamp across the top of the disc brake caliper, placing one of the feet of the clamp on the disc pad facing you and the other on the back of the caliper. 5. Tighten the C clamp, which will depress the brake caliper pistons, making it possible to remove the caliper. 6. Remove the caliper bolts. You should be able to remove the caliper from the rotor (it may take some moving it back and forth to get it off). You can use a wire to suspend the caliper off to one side while removing the rotor. DON'T let it dangle buy the brake line, which can cause damage. 7. There are a couple of flat combination nut/washers. Use a flathead screwdrive to remove them, preferably by unscrewing them. 8. Once these are removed, the rotor can be removed by pulling it toward you and off the lugs.
Any local brake shop will be able to turn the rotors for you Dodge Ram 1500. Depending on what is located near you Midas, Sears, and Tires Plus are all places that will turn a set of rotors.

Removing Front & Rear Rotors Well Guys... I remove my Front & Rear Rotors out of my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT. I rented a 3 Jaw Puller from Auto Zone and a bottle of PB Blaster and a sledge hammer it only took about one hour or less to take both off... The way I removed the Front & Rear Rotors was ... 1. I put lots of PB Blaster in the back and the front of the rotors to be removed. 2. I put plenty of tension with the 3 Jaw Puller... 3. I hit the back of the rotor with the sledge hammer... And it came right off... Hope this helps...
If the truck has disc brakes on the rear then the park brake shoes are located inside the rear rotors. You have to remove the brake calipers, pads and rotors to access them
First, raise and support the vehicle. Then remove the wheel and the tire assembly. Also remove the caliper from the steering knuckle, and then remove the caliper adapter assembly.
