There should be a nut around the chrome pipe holding it to the brass. Loosen the nut and pull the chrome pipe out.

Like untwisting the paper tube in a roll of toilet paper. They corrode and cannot be unscrewed. Replacing it may be a problem. The tube has a fine thread and is old enough that very few places if any carry a replacement. You will probably have to open the wall up so that you can make another type of connection depending on what you find.
