You can strengthen your lower back by doing some extension exercises for the back. Lie down on your tummy and then you can prop yourself up using your elbows and hold that for 10 seconds.. You may repeat this 10 times for 3 sets, as long as it doesnt create any pain. Also, you might want to strengthen your abdominals as well because it can very affect your low back strecngth. Abdominal crunches are very important to do for adding stability and strength to your trunk. Stretching is just as important. Many back problems can be helped and often eliminated by simply stretching and doing abdominal crunches regularly. There is some good information at www.backpainsucks.com

To stretch your back, you can put your arms up in the air. Stretch them as high as they will go. Then put your arms in front of you and reach as far as you can. This will stretch your back muscles.

You should probably go visit a doctor or a pyhrotractor. Try sleeping or getting a massage.

If that doesn't do any good you should at least try excercising to help your bones or nerves rejoin themselves so you don't have a big pain
