Locate the BELT TENSIONER, remove pressure (Tension) with appropriate Tool, remove Belt, replace. You may well need to remove A/C Belt before removing Drive belt and to do this, one will need a 15mm Wrench to loosen bolt on Idler Pulley for A/C Belt AND a 15mm or larger Socket with Extension bit for Ratchet to loosen assembly holding Idler Pulley to effect room needed to remove A/C Belt from Idler Pulley, then removing Drive Belt.
Not all engines are designed the same--I am referencing from a '93 Sunbird with a 2.0 L4.
There should be a diagram on Hood underside or Engine bay framework to assist with Drive Belt routing and if not, consult a Repair Manual (Chilton or Haynes) specific to that Vehicle Year/Model.
