You can play blu-rays on a laptop with a blu-ray external drive. You can also play blu-rays legally without one backing up the entire blu-ray ISO to the hard drive and playing it with UFUSoft Blu-ray Player. However in order to do so you must have a moderate to go video card to do it with but I would bet that it could be done with a computer with a 2 GHZ cpu.
Please keep in mind that this is legal under fair use which need I remind you is legal to do if you have a physical copy of the blu-ray disc.
Only if your computer has a Blu-Ray drive http://www.blu-rayvideoplayer.com/blu-ray-cant-play-on-laptop-can-i-play-blu-ray-on-my-laptop/
You need an external Blu-ray drive and a third party software like Macgo Blu-ray Player. Until now, this is the best I ever used for my MacBook.
If it has the blu ray sign on it then you can. If not you can't.
If the laptop has a bluray player, if not only regular Dvd's will be playable.
Only if you have a blu-ray reader in it.

No if the laptop had Blu ray reader it just could not play the game or run the program and if it did not then it still would not break, but PS3 discs are Bluray. It serves no purpose to put a PS3 disc in a Laptop

You will require a Bluray player to play a disc. To watch content in high definition, you will need an HD television with an HDMI connection between them. However, Bluray players have analog outputs to allow a standard definition signal to be connected to non HD televisions.
A Bluray disc stores five times more data than a DVD. Therefore, a DVD will not have the capacity to store the contents of a Bluray disc.
if your laptop does not have anyplace to put the CD, then you have to buy an external drive for it. so basically an attachable disk drive in order to play the game.
